brand new Embedded Controller. The AEC-6612 that is based on the
Intel® Atom™ D510 processor belongs to our AAEON BOXER Lite series that
represents a compact and slim size with a good balance of performance
and a cost effective price.
The AEC-6612 adopts the Intel® Atom™ D510 1.66GHz
processor and DDR2 SODIMM system memory (up to 2 GB). The LCD/CRT
controller of the unit has integrated into the Intel® Atom™ D510 and
shares the system memory (up to 384MB). The AEC-6612
features rich I/O interfaces, and you can select two COM and two USB
ports for a standard deployment or equip an optional six COM ports and
six USB 2.0 ports for an advanced installation. For faster network
communication, this model equips two Gigabit Ethernets to deal with
high speed transmissions. The AEC-6612 is an ideal model to
communicate with diverse devices simultaneously. The unit also
features two PCI-Express Mini-Card slots that allow end users or VARs to
flexibly integrate to existing systems and meet the requirements in
demanding niche markets.

Hard Disk Drive bay and a easy accessible CompactFlash™ Slot for large
storage requirements. The passive heat-spreading system is
patented technology based on the aluminum alloy chassis designed by

and low power consumption (based on the Intel® Atom™ D510 processor),

power on the AEC-6612 is a wide DC input range from 9 to 30V with
ATX/ACPI power mode that can support Intel® Hyper Threading Technology
for fully computing power of the Intel® Atom™ processor. On the
other hand, customers can also choose the optional model with DC 12V
input for cost-effective purposes.
The AEC-6612 is compatible with common operating systems such as
WinCE 6.0, Windows® XP Embedded, Windows® XP, Windows® 7, and Linux
Fedora. The excellent capability and stability make it an ideal solution
for a variety of embedded applications, especially in the
